The computer revolutionized graphic design, especially in the area of typography. Following and introduction to type anatomy and classification, Digital Type looks at how to use type effectively and how to store and manage fonts. This is followed by practical demonstrations of how to manipulate type for print and for the web and how to create type, either from out-of-copyright material, or through splicing existing fonts.
